Anne receiving her award

The members of the Guild were saddened to learn of the death of their Vice President, Mrs Anne Neville, on 29th September, 2004.  Anne joined the committee in 1958.  She served as a committee member until 1969 and as vice chairman from 1969 to 1976.  She then served as chairman from 1976 to 1987 and from then on as vice president. She was awarded a silver badge in 1984; gold badge in 1997 and gold bar in 2003.  In February, 2004 she celebrated her 90th birthday and attended our AGM in May 2004.  Anne served the guild well during her years of service and even arranged our coffee morning to be held at St. David’s, Craig-y-Don on 13th October. Anne will be greatly missed by the Llandudno Guild.
